Hangups are a great way for children and adults alike to show and share their feelings in a non-confrontational manner. By leaving a doll that represents the child or adult in a pocket that expresses their mood, a conversation can easily be started in order to explore the feelings that the pocket represents.
The “Bedtime” Hangup encourages children and carers to talk about the things that have happened that day and, perhaps, to open up discussion about things they may be worried about and may not be able to articulate.
The “Kevin” and “Moody” hangups are for the older and teenage children in your life who might have trouble expressing their feelings meaningfully.
